Some nine months ago I started www.BestGitesinBrittany.com when I realised that there was a lack of Gite sites that were easy to use for the client and simple to update by the Gite owner.
After doing much research I found that some sites were so confusing to use that I would need a holiday just in order to be able to book the holiday in the first place!
And then I’d hear my partner muttering under her breath as she tried to update the sites on which she advertised her gites. And somehow, I don’t think that she was muttering… “This site is so user friendly!”
I decided that what was needed was a simple site that was easy to use, where potential clients could browse at their leisure and where Gite owners could update their details without having a heart attack.
Above all, it had to be free for the Gite owners to register their Gites on. No hidden costs, no surprises, free as in really free!
Well, www.BestGitesinBrittany.com has been an outstanding success and we have been listening to the comments that people have been kind enough to pass on to us….

“I wish there was something similar for my Bed and Breakfast….”
“We specialise in pet friendly holiday accommodation. You know, there’s no site specifically for people who want to take their pets on holiday….”

Spurred on by these comments I have launched www.petfriendlygites.com
www.petfriendlygites.com is a continuation of www.BestGitesinBrittany.com but for the whole of France and with Pet Owners in mind.
The rest of the concept remains the same; an easy to search site so that you can find the perfect Gite without having to struggle.
And, for the Gite owners, we do all the work in adding your properties – and the properties are listed for free!
Not satisfied with that, I also decided to launch www.BestFrenchHoliday.com
www.BestFrenchHoliday.com works in exactly the same way as www.petfriendlygites.com but is for holiday accommodation in anywhere other than Gites.
In other words, Hotel, B&B and Campsite accommodation.
For people looking for a Gite holiday, I have launched www.FindaGite.com
Once again, www.FindaGite.com works along exactly the same lines as www.BestGitesinBrittany.com
In other words, an easy to navigate site that is free to advertise on.
Finally, for longer term lets, there is www.PrestigeFrenchLettings.com
Here you will find lettings for longer than the normal 2 or 3 week holiday lettings.
